Obligation to submit an Income Tax Return for 2023
The tax department has recently announced that the Income Tax Return (“T.D.1 form”) for employees, pensioners, and self-employed individuals who do not prepare audited financial statements for the year 2023 is now available for electronic submission via the TAXISnet system.
Ιt is noted that according to the Decree of the Council of Ministers (KDP 184/20223), the obligation to submit an Income Tax Return for 2023 arises when the annual gross income exceeds the amount of €19.500.
Deadline
The deadline for the submission of the Income Tax Return for 2023 and the payment of any tax due is on 31 July 2024.
